New SEO Question

What is LSO, LSI, LSA and the difference between them?

Back in the beginning of 2011 I asked the same question on LinkedIn, but I was to early, nobody was interested, or my peace off content is crappy? Hopefully this is a better place to discuss or get the right comments positive or negative to get LSO in a much more clear view.

For LSO, LSI and LSA I have read and studied all kinds of info, but I also often encountered contradictions for SEO, so I wonder if you agree with the story below? Comments, additions, etc… are welcome.

LSO, LSI and LSA
The terms LSO, LSI and LSA concern a semantic calculation used by Search Engines and which can be used in #SEO keyword research, noting that keywords phrases are also possible.

LSO: Latent Semantic Optimization
LSO is the mapping of common keywords related to a target using a known issue / article and the subsequent (SEO) content #optimization. By using the related keywords, the search position can be affected. It is also important that the related keywords are used as early as possible in the content and that they be placed as close as possible to be most successful.
The Search Engines are becoming smarter and the expectation is that LSO in the near future is becoming increasingly important within the SEO! Think of it that I did write this begin 2011

LSI: Latent Semantic Indexation
On the basis of what is already known within the search index data, the Search Engine decides which kind of subject matters and is related to the origin subject. As in “car” the “hook” is related and related to “hook” will be the “trailer” or even more.
If the result of LSI is used in LSO, a sentence or content with the words “car”, “hook” and “trailer” will get a higher quality and is richer in content instead of a sentence or content with just the words “car” and “trailer”.

It is also true that apart of relationships also synonyms can be defined by the Search Engines and synonyms can be used within LSO.
Determine synonyms by searching for “~home”, for example:https://www.google.com/search?pws=0&q=%7Ehome&lr= , synonyms which found are called “houses” and “broker”.

LSA: Latent Semantic Analysis
Search Engines have access to large amounts of indexed websites, also called ‘data’.
LSA stands for:
- Analyzing data to get relevant terms which are then to be determined to get a possible relevance on a keyword. Each keyword found, will get a certain degree of weight, the greater the weight, the more important the relevant keyword is.

LSA is very similar to LSI, but focuses on the extra weight of a keyword.

If the weight of relevance is determined, a search engine can offer the most related relevant keywords as a search service (Google Instant, Google related searches). But if these most predominant relevant keywords are also used in the content, than you can influence a better position within search results with LSO

Use the following “on-page” optimization techniques to improve your website’s search engine ranking…
1. Keywords In Domain Names
Include important keywords in webpage domain names and sub-domain names, which can improve the page ranking for those specific keywords or phrases.
2. Keywords In Meta Tags
Including keywords in the Title and Description Meta Tags for the webpage will also help search engine ranking for that specific keyword or phrase.
3. Keywords In Headers On Page
Including keywords in the H1 and H2 Header tags, and using “bold” to emphasize words deemed important, will also assist search optimization.
4. Quality Of Content
Generating quality content that uses keywords “naturally” in the text will help search engines contextualize your website.
5. Quantity Of Content
The content on a webpage must be a reasonable length. It is recommended that articles contain 400-600 words, and standard text on a webpage should contain a minimum of 250 words.
6. Page Displayed Using HTML
The webpage should use HTML to display the website’s content. This will insure that the webpages are easily spidered by the search engines. Avoid using complex scripting or frames, as those features will inhibit the search engine spider’s ability to follow links and will limit your SEO benefit.
7. Themed
The content of a website, and the pages within the website, should all be related.
8. No Broken Links
Broken links tell search engines that a website is not current or well-maintained, so be sure to keep your links up-to-date and valid. Remove any links that no longer function properly.
9. Outgoing Links To Good Neighborhoods
Be sure that any outgoing links to external sources are linking only to reputable websites.
10. Domain Extension
When registering a domain name, try to stick with the standard conventions. For example, .com, .edu, .org, and .net are the most desirable. If you are targeting a specific region, regional domains can also be helpful in local searches.
11. Age Of Domain
The domain age can influence its “trustworthiness”, and older domains typically gain more favor with search engines.
12. Navigation
The website’s navigation can also impact search ranking. Create sub-directories or folders that contain related groupings of pages. This is common with directory structures, and is an architecture that search engines are familiar with and tend to favor.
13. Image ALT Tags
Use keywords in the ALT tag attribute to describe the purpose of any image or graphic located on a webpage.
All “On-Page” optimization factors are under the control of the webmaster. “Off-Page” optimization, on the other hand, is not nearly as easy to control. Read “Optimizing Optimization, Part 2: Off-Page Optimization” for additional details regarding off-page SEO techniques.

Design an SEO Friendly Website

The friendly design of Web site of SEO claims sufficient planning and the expertise. A complete arrangement of the method of optimization of Search Engine is a need and the points which make a difference must be applied strategically. It is a mixed process of the directives and first hand ideas. This field in evolution is regularly enriched with new tools and techniques.
The majority of big part of the process are search for key word. More one professional will concentrate on this that the better results will come ahead. The search for key word can be made with the tools proven such as the traquor of mot. the key words must be placed strategically in the URL, the titles, the files and the names of file and in the body text with a preferable density from 3% to 7%. Some search engines can penalize the contents due to the blind use of the key words in them. Key words should also be put in the anchored text containing of the bonds hypertexts.
There are some aspects concerning the use of the flash, the sights etc which need suitable discussion. Both should mainly be prevented other than special cases. The problem with the flash is that when the creeping of spiders of Search Engine the Web site the instantaneous files are neglected causing the following loss of contents. With where the flash cannot be distributed, a bond should be provided to look at the contents in the flash. But the bond should not be put in the page of index of the Web site.
